Chicago-based alternative rock artist, Blake Red, has been gaining lots of attention in recent months. Her single releases for “Follow Me” and “The Cradle” have earned the favor of many radio playlists, bloggers, and listeners.

The coolest part? Blake did it by sticking to her rocking creativity and not filtering her feelings. She stayed true to herself.

Thanks to all the success so far, she was able to release her new EP entitled The Cradle on all major platforms! Since the release in August, the EP has reached over 100k streams on Spotify!

Blake is not afraid to tell her story and talk about the struggles of depression and anxiety. Rather than shy away from pain, Blake has always embraced it, and that is one thing that always makes her music so unique. With this EP, listeners are able to explore themes of redemption and resurrection.

The Cradle EP is a story of rebirth, where she is the most confident that she has ever been in a long time.

“Goodbye demons, its been fun. Coming back to life!,” she said.
