Billie Eilish was forced to abruptly postpone her sold out ‘Where Do We Go” World Tour in early 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic.
“i’m so sad to do this but we need to postpone these dates to keep everyone safe,” Eilish said when postponing the tour. “we’ll let you know when they can be rescheduled. please keep yourselves healthy. i love you.”
Now on Thursday (Dec. 3), the superstar announced that she is officially cancelling the tour dates as they tried every possible scenario and none of them are possible due to the surge in COVID-19 cases and the ongoing spread of the novel virus.
“Hi guys, I wish that I could have seen you on tour this year. I’ve missed performing for you and being on stage so much I can’t even tell you,” Eilish began to explain.
She continued to say: “We’ve tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour but none are possible and, although I know so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and vip passes, the bet thing we can do for everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we can. Keep an eye on your email for more info from you point of purchase and when we’re ready and it’s safe we’ll let you know when everyone will be able to purchase tickets again for the next tour. I love you so much. Stay safe, drink lots of water, wear a mask.”
