Awolnation Saving Lives One Tour Date at a Time

Multi-platinum alternative rockers Awolnation continue their partnership with Music Saves Lives to find a match for those with blood cancer by inviting fans to register, announced today. Awolnation have a renewed determination to help Music Saves Lives match someone with a similar and compatible bone marrow in hopes of saving a life. There are thousands afflicted with blood cancer going through treatment right now so finding a match is more important than ever – and thanks to technology a cure is available!  Music Saves Lives have registered more than 30,000 people and have 54 matches with those patients currently in remission.  Registration is simple, fans can text MSL to 50555 or visitMusicSavesLives.org/events.

Awolnation Fans have already shown their support with more than 200 registrants from the February launch! The registry is simple – once you sign up you will get a cheek swab kit (very simple procedure), send in the kit, and you are added to the registry. If there is a match, DKMS will contact you to discuss how you can help – this is an important commitment.  Again, if you register and you match someone with a similar and compatible Bone Marrow you will be asked to save their life. Fans who register will be entered to win a special “Good Citizen VIP Upgrade” to their purchased ticket.  One winner and a guest at each tour date.  Fans must register within 72 hours (3 days) before their actual concert date to be entered to win the upgrade. Additionally, each registrant will also be entered to win a Gibson Guitar signed by Awolnation at the end of the tour. The call to action is for US and Canada headlining tour dates only.
