ATTILA shared a brand new single called “Clarity” on March 19, giving fans the first taste of new music since the release of their single “Cancelled.” Both songs are set to appear on their yet-to-be announced ninth studio album, which the band continues to work on and will serve as the follow-up to their 2019 album, Villian.
“Clarity / Just make it make sense to me. / Clarity / I know I’m good enough. Know I’m more than good enough / I’m not who I want to be / But I’m good enough to make you feel complete / All the things you hate about me, make me too good for you,” Attila frontman Fronz sings during the chorus of the track.
Produced by Andrew Wade, the track is about “a toxic environment and emerging with a new sense of self worth.”
The band continued to explain, “Appreciating yourself in the wake of mourning something you thought was healthy but turned out to be traumatic. While the wounds are still fresh, you are learning to love all your traits and qualities that a bad situation from your past wrongfully convinced you were negative.”
The track is accompanied by a visually stunning music video, directed by Tony Tomasino, which you can watch below.
