Asking Alexandria, one of the most streamed, downloaded, watched, and altogether listened to bands in a generation, have scored their 3rd top ten hit at active rock radio as their massive hit single ‘Alone In A Room’ moved up to #9 this week.

‘Alone In A Room’ is the second single to be taken from the band’s eponymous 5th studio album (released via Sumerian Records). To date, ‘Alone In A Room’ has racked up a whopping 13.3 million streams on Spotify, 28 million global streams4.9 million YouTube Views and spent 5 weeks at #1 on Sirius XM’s ‘Big Uns’ Countdown. It’s popularity and chart ascendance show no sign of slowing down. Speaking on their latest radio success, Ben Bruce (guitarist) said:

“This has been one of the most exciting and fulfilling album cycles in Asking Alexandria’s history and just to keep things interesting we have only gone and cracked top 10 at active rock radio. This is such a huge accomplishment and it wouldn’t be possible without the INSANE amount of support you have given us. I don’t have the words to express how truly grateful I am, so let me just start by saying THANK YOU.

We love you”

Combining the innovation of modern active rock with the traditional attitude of the culture’s trailblazers. Asking Alexandria have now firmly cemented their place in the upper echelons of modern rock.

They’ve shared the stage with Guns N’ RosesGreen Day, Alice In ChainsAvenged Sevenfold and Slipknot; co-headlined with Black Veil Brides; joined Warped Tour and Rockstar Mayhem; played every major rock festival in the world; and headlined sold out theater tours.

Their singles ‘The Final Episode’ and ‘Not the American Average’ were both certified gold by the RIAA for sales in excess of 500,000 each. The music videos for those two singles alone amassed over 100 million views on YouTube. Their third full length album, From Death to Destiny (2013), shot to #1 on the Rock and Metal charts in the U.K. and cracked the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 in the United States upon its release.

Made with producer Matt Good, Asking Alexandria’s self-titled fifth album is an unbridled celebration of acceptance, of the strength of diversity and the freedom of “leaning into the crazy” (as Worsnop puts it), instead of struggling for conformity.
