Fresh off her incredible performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California for two packed weekends of surprise guest filled performances during the festival and performing the song from her sold out Sweetener World Tour, Ariana Grande made time to perform her latest single “7 Rings” on the 2019 Billboard Music Awards tonight and wow it was a sight to see. The single “7 Rings” is off of her latest No. 1 record, thank u, next.
“7 Rings” spent six weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs Airplay chart, marks her fourth No. 1 hit since July – the fastest any artist has collected that many No. 1 singles in the chart’s history.
Being introduced by Ashley Graham under the 7 rings that filled the walkway outside the arena. Performing with her impeccable production as the crowd sang the song back to Grande loudly. Recreating her music video for the single briefly with the graffitied outfits her and dancers wore and the glittering pink car custom polished with ‘BBMAs 2019’ backing the stage beneath the massive moon sitting atop her stage. Ending with an explosion of money fluttering onto the crowd from guns that shot the money over the crowd by her dancers.
Grande has won one award so far including ‘Billboard Chart Achievement.’
