Ariana Grande just surprised fans with a new single, just ahead of tonight’s Saturday Night Live show which ex-fiance’ Pete Davidson appears on. Just a few hours after announcing the title to her new album, Grande released the first single off the new record called “thank u, next” and you can listen to it below. Grande shouts our her exes within the new single, sending love to her exes which include Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, the late Mac Miller, and her recent fiance’ Pete Davidson.

In the first few lines of the song Grande can be heard mentioning her exes names singing, “Thought I’d end up with Sean, but it wasn’t a match //Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh // Even almost got married, and for Pete, I’m so thankful // Wish I could say, ‘Thank you’ to Malcolm ’cause he was an angel,”

Grande’s new album, her fifth studio album is going to be titled, Thank U, Next. Which her new single will be the title track from this forthcoming new record. Grande just released her fourth studio album, Sweetener, on August 17th. Grande announced this new album in the process via Twitter in a chat with one of her best-friends, Victoria Monet.

Grande Tweeting out to fans saying, “a new chapter ? gratitude, growth, embracing our path bumps n all …. thank u, next, no drags…. no shade….. jus love, gratitude, acceptance, honesty, forgiveness … and growth ? this what happens when u write an album w your best friends lol @VictoriaMonet they dig up all your old sayings and it ends up becoming the album title lmao.”
