Apache Rose is an indie-rock band from Moscow, Russia who grew up on a lot of American and British rock bands of the 1970-1990’s. That’s why their debut full-length album, Attention!, expands so heavily on the groove-based rock of their prior singles, with a lot of their core 90’s influences. So when listening to this album, you can expect to hear a mix of hard rock, punk, and metal!
“We wanted to make an album like the ones we love, the one you could listen on repeat,” says Apache Rose. “Like Aerosmith’s Rocks, Metallica’s Kill’em All, Sex Pistols’ Nevermind the Bollocks, Nirvana’s Nevermind, Soundgarden’s Superunknown, Stone Temple Pilots’ Core, and Arctic Monkeys’ Beneath the Boardwalk. We hope we succeeded.”
With lyrics like “No I ain’t ever coming back / I’d rather have a heart attack” and “Something could be done / With the feeling when its gone / It’s so easy,” backed up with some insane guitar playing, the band for sure succeeded with their goal.
“Easy” is such a laid back type of rock song that anyone could chill to.
Be sure to check out the full album, available on January 27th. You can pre-order or pre-save it here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/apacherose/attention-2
