Amanda Jordan To Make National TV Debut Performing “I Choose You” On ‘The Bachelor’

Amanda Jordan will make her national TV debut on the upcoming episode of The Bachelor, which will also feature Hilary Duff and Ziwe.

The rising star and Rideau Ferry native will perform her latest single “I Choose You” during The Bachelor for Season 26’s leading man, Clayton Echard and one lucky bachelorette on Monday, January 10 at 8/7c on ABC. 

“I’m beyond excited to share that I’ll be performing my brand new single “I Choose You” on this season of The Bachelor!! TUNE IN January 10th at 8/7c on ABC to see my national TV debut on THE BACHELOR!” Jordan revealed on Instagram.

Ahead of her performance, the country singer sat down with Inside Ottawa Valley to discuss her appearance on the popular reality show.

“I’m over the moon! It feels so surreal, and it’s such an honor and privilege to perform on a show that I genuinely love,” Jordan told the outlet.

Jordan continued, “I grew up watching ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’ so as an emerging Canadian artist, I really feel lucky to have this opportunity to perform on such an amazing platform.”

While chatting with the outlet, Jordan also discussed “I Choose You,” the song she will be performing on the show.

“When I first heard ‘I Choose You,’ I was going through a difficult breakup,” Jordan shared. “I was trying to convince myself it was for the best but couldn’t seem to move on. Listening to ‘I Choose You,’ I had this moment of, ‘it’s him and there’s no one else I can spend my life with.’ That’s what ultimately led me to want to record the song, so when The Bachelor opportunity came about, I thought it was a perfect fit.”

Co-written by Ruthie Collins and Runaway June’s Natalie Stovall, “I Choose You” follows Jordan’s previous song’s “Pretty Girl”, and “Love You To Pieces.”
