Hard Rock band, Alive In Barcelona, signed to Smartpunk Records, are gearing up for their forthcoming full-length release, titled Alive In Barcelona due out next Friday, February 22, 2019; produced by Paul Leavitt, Jesse Barton, and Jimmy Hill and mastered by Brad Blackwood. The album is highlighted by their brand new single, “Zombies” which featured Craig Mabbitt of Escape The Fate, and is about going through life’s trivial moments and losing sight of opportunities ahead. The band expanded, “Too many people spend time being possessed with material things, and really losing out on so many of life’s opportunities. ‘Zombies’ is about being present and focused.” Fans can watch the brand new music video here!

Throughout the album, the band offers this common theme while bridging an uplifting yet dark ideology in each track. Topics such as depression, grief, and anxiety are continual themes throughout each song. The band has released two additional singles off of the album including, a music video + documentary for their single, “The Fight,” a song about the battle of depression, the grief of stress and anxiety, and the gravity of suicide. Along with “House of Memories,” written about band member Jesse, and how he had to gather up the house belongings following the death of his father.

Utilizing these heavy themes, the band’s pairs their musical proficiency on guitar to push through lyrical content that contains so much weight to provide an ironclad backbone for their vocal delivery in each track. Each poignant song tells a tale and a story, offering a unique harmony of clean, yet heavy vocals, shedding the dichotomy of the standard post-hardcore formula.

To celebrate the release of their album, the band is proud of announce a full headlining tour this February and March, kicking off the run in their hometown, Spokane, WA at The Knitting Factory with special guest gp. Following their headlining run, the band will hit the road in April with Alesana and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Fans can head over to the band’s website for additional details and ticket links now.
