Alanis Sophia wowed American Idol judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie with an impressive cover of Alanis Morissette.

The 19-year-old Florida contestant was named after superstar Alanis Morissette, covered Morissette’s 1998 hit “Uninvited” during the showstopper round on American Idol and after that performance, we think she deserves a spot in the Top 24 and although the teaser clip doesn’t show if she advances, we will find out on Sunday!

Following her performance, Idol judges were left speechless but thoroughly impressed.

“I like it,” Richie commented during the performance while cheering her on.

“Wow,” Bryan added before Perry chimed in saying “nice!” as they both applauded her stunning vocal abilities.

“Uninvited” was released as a single from the soundtrack of City of Angels in February 1998, becoming Morissette’s first new recording since her international debut album, Jagged Little Pill (1995).

Sophia earned a golden ticket to Hollywood with a cover of Demi Lovato’s soaring ballad “Anyone,” which earned her a standing ovation from Perry, Richie and Bryan as they praised her vocal purity.

“You have just enough confidence, but you are also pure. Cause you really are selling both your voice, yourself, your story, all of it and you are doing it so well already and you don’t even know and guess what you don’t need to know it, it’s just natural,” Perry gushed.

“In the midst of all of this noise, is the the purity of your voice and your personality that requires nothing but exactly who you are,” Richie said. “And I was enjoying the simplicity of your craft and I think you have huge potential, I enjoyed it.”

“You just walked out here and just sang and it was real and it was honest and it felt awesome to watch,” Bryan added.

Her audition was even noticed by her Idol Morissette who tweeted “sweet Alanis Sophia sending you so much love.”

New episodes of American Idol air each Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
