Alana Springsteen shined with an extraordinary cover of LANY’s newest song.

The rising star shared a stunning stripped down cover of LANY’s “Up To Me” on Tuesday (July 20), so impressive that it prompted a response from LANY frontman Paul Jason Klein.

In the clip shared by Springsteen, the 20-year-old singer is seen sitting in her bedroom, playing acoustic guitar while singing the LANY song. “If u know me, u know @thisislany is my FAV… this new music hit different tho,” she captioned the clip, which you can watch below.

“Love!!” Klein commented alongside a clapping emoji on Springsteen’s cover on Instagram. Springsteen quickly replied to Klein saying, “THANK U!!” before showing her excitement for the group’s upcoming new album, gg bb xx.

Klein also shared the cover via his Instagram stories, which he gushed, “Damn this slaps stripped!”

In addition to Klein, Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers, Walker Hayes, Tyler Rich, Levi Hummon and more also showed their support of the wowing cover by liking the clip on Instagram.

Up To Me” was released, along with a song called “dna,” on July 15 and appears on LANY’s forthcoming studio album, gg bb xx. The track follow’s the project’s first single “Dancing In The Kitchen.”

Additionally, Springsteen recently shared a brand new single, co-penned by Walker Hayes, called “Zero Trucks.”

“Alana and I met via Zoom, I love her, I loved her voice, I loved what she’s about” Hayes told Music Mayhem of his collaboration with Springsteen. “I saved what I did for her because I was like, “I know if a girl could pull this off, it is Alana.” So we wrote “Zero Trucks” via Zoom and then did a little home tape at home and then her team got onboard.”

Springsteen’s sassy, summer breakup anthem, “Zero Trucks,” finds the Virginia Beach native singing about being freed from a failed relationship. The new track follows her previously released single “California” and her infectious duet “Trying Not To” which features Roman Alexander.

The singer is set to appear later this month at Watershed Music and Camping Festival (7/30-8/1) in George, WA, on the Next From Nashville stage. She will also be hosting ‘Alana & Friends’ at The Listening Room in Nashville, Tenn. on August 5. Tickets for the event are on-sale now HERE.
