Alana Springsteen shared a brand song called “Zero Trucks.”

On Friday (July 9), the Virginia Beach native released her sassy, summer breakup anthem that will be on repeat all weekend and finds the rising star singing about being freed from a failed relationship.

“I’ve always relied on music to get me through. Sometimes you want to sit in the sadness and other times you want to escape. What I love about ‘Zero Trucks’ is that it’s a lighthearted reminder that endings can bring freedom – nudging you closer to the person you want to be and the people you want to be with,” Springsteen shared of the track. “The whole process of creating this song, from writing with Walker [Hayes] and Joe [Clemmons], to producing with Jerry [Flowers] and Jared [Keim].”

Springsteen notes that a music video is on the way for the track in the near future, so stay tuned!

“Plus shooting the music video (stay tuned!) with all of my friends brought me so much joy. I can only hope it brings that same happiness to others,” Springsteen noted.

“Zero Trucks” was co-written by Springsteen alongside Walker Hayes and Joe Clemmons.

The new track follows her previously released single “California” and her infectious duet “Trying Not To” which features Roman Alexander.

Additionally, Springsteen is set to appear later this month at Watershed Music and Camping Festival (7/30-8/1) in George, WA, on the Next From Nashville stage.

She will also be hosting ‘Alana & Friends’ at The Listening Room in Nashville, Tenn. on August 5. Tickets for the event are on-sale now HERE.
