Aerosmith and Run-DMC brought a one-of-a-kind performance of “Walk This Way” to the 62nd Annual GRAMMYs stage with a rockin’ performance.
Launching with “Livin’ on the edge” before moving into their collaborative performance of “Walk This Way.” Performing on the GRAMMYs without their founding member and longtime drummer, Joey Kramer. Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry both haven’t aged and sound even more incredible live now then they ever have. They started with “Livin’ On The Edge” before Run DMC bursted from behind a brick wall that they kicked down to join Aerosmith for their record-breaking collaboration of “Walk This Way.”
Aerosmith were honored at this year’s ceremony with the MusiCares Person of the Year in recognition of their musical achievements as well as their philanthropic efforts, including Steven Tyler’s Janie’s Fund, which provides support to girls and women who have suffered abuse and neglect. Past MusiCares honorees include Dolly Parton, Fleetwood Mac, and Tom Petty.
