Whether you’re looking for a vacation or a staycation, this hotel is the choice for you. The 12-story, 165-room hotel has the perfect balance of tropical retreat and the laid-back lifestyle Buffett is known for.

If you’re a big Jimmy Buffett fan, this hotel is the perfect spot for you! Not only are his lyrics placed throughout the hotel, but he even has some signature margaritas named after his albums and songs at Fins Bar and photos of Buffett are seen in random locations throughout the building as well.

Below we compiled a list of 6 reasons why every Jimmy Buffett fan should stay at Margaritaville Hotel Nashville

The Food & Drinks Are Top Notch

The exquisite downtown hotel features two restaurants that both include a full-service bar and menu full of delectable dishes.

Fins Bar allows guests to wind down poolside with a tasty beverage, while overlooking stunning views of Music City’s skyline. The rooftop bar and restaurant offers an extensive list of hand-crafted drinks, including Margaritas inspired by Buffett songs. A few notable mentions include the ‘License To Chill’ margarita named after Buffett’s twenty-fifth studio album as well as the “Fins Up” margarita, which is named after a popular single from Buffett that appears on his 1979 album, Volcano.

In addition to Margaritas, the bar also offers some unique mixed drinks, frozen daiquiris, beer, wine and soft drinks.

The friendly and accommodating staff even provides stellar poolside service, which was the perfect addition to our relaxing stay. I mean, what a better way to relax then to have a frozen beverage and some flatbread pizza brought to you poolside.

Whether it’s for a bite to eat for lunch, happy hour, a casual dinner, or after-dinner drinks by the fire pit, Fins Bar is the perfect place to relax and take a break from reality.

Our personal favorite food item on the menu would definitely have to be the mouth-watering Margherita and BBQ flatbread pizza or the beach chips, both of which were delicious poolside snacks. While our goto drink was a strawberry daiquiri or the infamous bushwacker (otherwise known as a chocolate piña colada), pictured below.

The hotel makes food and drinks easy to find with their JWB Grille, which is a bar & grille located next to SiriusXM in the hotel lobby, making food and drinks easy to find.

JWB Grille “features timeless tastes with contemporary twists sure to please even the pickiest of palates. From Southern soul food to fine-dining favorites to coastal cravings, if you want it, chances are it’s on the menu,” according to the hotel’s website.

The hotel also has an Starbucks on-site and gift shop for all your must-have travel items, snacks/drinks and souvenirs.

Inspired By Jimmy Buffett

Not only are there Margarita’s inspired by Buffett songs, but there are also references to the iconic “Cheeseburger In Paradise” singer and his tropical lifestyle throughout the hotel, including his lyrics on the walls and more.

Upon exiting the elevator on each floor of the 12-story hotel, you are greeted by one of Buffett’s signature lyrics, a few lyrics we noticed are from songs such as “Happily Ever After (Now And Then),” “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,” and more.

In addition to his lyrics and margarita’s being named after Buffett, the aforementioned JWB Grille is the namesake eatery of James (Jimmy) William Buffett.

We must also note that you never know when Buffett will stop by to make a surprise appearance at his signature hotel as recently following his Nashville concert, he made an appearance at SiriusXM inside the lobby and even took a photo with the hotel’s iconic blue flip flop.

The Ideal Location & Perfect Place For Someone Wanting The True Nashville Experience

The hotel is in the most ideal location as it’s within feet of Music City Center as well as just a block away from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, which is home to the Nashville Predators, also the arena where majority of major concert events are held.

Located in Downtown Nashville, just two blocks away from the iconic honky-tonks, artist-owned bars and live music on Broadway.

Other nearby popular tourist attractions include the Country Music Hall Of Fame, Fifth & Broadway, & more.

A Stunning Tropical Oasis

Even though you’re landlocked, the hotel takes you to a tropical paradise with images scattered throughout the hotel that brings the beach-vibes to life as well as a pool that reminds us of something you’d find in a Hawaiian resort.

The pool included lounge chairs that were situated in about a foot of water in a shallow section of the pool, while there were also ledges with table tops in the pool to sit and have a drink or grab a bite to eat.

The tranquil oasis brings the beach to Nashville with palm trees and parrots throughout the building, especially noted in the lobby flying towards the elevators. The hotel even incorporates tropical aromas dispersed on every floor pleasuring all of your senses.

The Quintessential Cozy Vacation & Staycation Spot

If your a Nashville resident or are traveling from a different city in the world, this is the quintessential place to stay. Whether you’re looking to party & have a great time or chill out and relax, there is a spot for you at the hotel.

If you’re looking to party, have a good time in your room, by the pool or at Fins bar otherwise lay back and relax poolside in a lounge chair/couch, hangout in front of a relaxing fire pit or chill on a couch in the air-conditioned lobby.

Clean & Spacious Rooms and Accommodating Staff

The very clean and spacious guest rooms included maritime accents throughout the room, a 50in LCD TV, a lockbox to keep your personal belongings safe, premium bedding, a teal mini-fridge and a coffee maker in addition to a large closet and several dresser drawers. The room also included a breathtaking video of the Nashville skyline and even overlooked the pool.

We must also note that the hotel staff, including everyone from the front desk to the bartenders/servers and housekeeping team, are very accommodating and are very welcoming with big smiles on their faces.
