Atlanta-based artist 5am returns with the virtual-reality-inspired video for “What You Want” — a soulful and seductive R&B track. The video arrives on the heels of last summer’s 5:88; a collaborative project between 5am and TM88, an 808 Mafia member who’s produced for artists like Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, and Travis Scott.

Directed by Sean Kelly and co-starring comedian HaHa Davis, “What You Want” was shot on location in Atlanta. The video’s opening scene finds 5am hanging by the bar at Revery (the first full bar in the U.S. to incorporate virtual reality technology), where he soon crosses paths with his dream girl. Guided by Davis, the two set off on a fantasy adventure that includes riding a motorcycle through the city, stealing a cop car, and then slipping into the backseat with a pair of police handcuffs.

With its mellowed-out groove and super-smooth hook, “What You Want” was the stand-alone single which followed 5:88 .
