24KGOLDN and Iann Dior brought their viral hit “Mood” to life at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 22).

“To be on that stage and to see the setup and know millions of people about to see this is incredible, breathtaking, it’s mind blowing,” 24KGOLDN said ahead of the performance.

Dior added: “I never expected to do this, this year and we came out with the energy today, so I can’t wait for you to see it.”

The track was released on July 24, 2020 and quickly became a chart-topping hit following its viral success on TikTok.

The 2020 American Music Awards also featured performances from Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, BTS, Dua Lipa, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Bebe Rexha feat. Doja Cat, Bell Biv DeVoe, Jennifer Lopez with Maluma, The Weeknd feat. Kenny G, Machine Gun Kelly, Lewis Capaldi, Dan + Shay, Katy Perry with Darius Rucker and Billie Eilish.

The awards were produced by dick clark productions. Amy Thurlow, Barry Adelman, Mark Bracco and Linda Gierahn are executive producers. Larry Klein is producer. The “2020 American Music Awards” is sponsored by Cheetos, T-Mobile and Xfinity.

Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, The AMAs aired on Wednesday, November 22 (live 8:00-11:00 PM ET) on ABC.
