2022 GRAMMYs: How To Watch, Performers, Presenters, Nominees & More

“Music’s Biggest Night” is upon us! The 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live on Sunday, April 3, from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena at 8/7c on CBS Television Network.

Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about the 2022 GRAMMY Awards, including how to watch, who’s hosting, which artists are performing, the nominees and more.

Where & When?

Live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place on Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

How To Watch?

The 2022 GRAMMY Awards will air live on April 3 at 8/7c on CBS Television Network.

The show can also be watched via Apple TV, Roku, or Fire TV and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Who’s Hosting?

Comedian and The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah will return for the second consecutive year to host the coveted awards show.

Who’s Performing?

The 2022 GRAMMY Awards will offer a star-studded list of performances. Silk Sonic, who are nominated for four awards at the show, will kick off the festivities.

Other performers include Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Jon Batiste, Billy Strings, Carrie Underwood, H.E.R., Brandi Carlile, Billy Strings, Aymée Nuviola, John Legend, J Balvin with Maria Becerra, Maverick City Music, BTS and Nas.

The Foo Fighters were also slated to perform during the show, but have since canceled due to unexpected passing of their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins. Instead, a tribute honoring Hawkins will take place during the awards show broadcast.

Rachel Zegler, Leslie Odom Jr., Ben Platt, and Cynthia Erivo are also set to take the stage for a special tribute honoring the late Grammy-winning theater composer Stephen Sondheim.

Who’s Presenting?

The list of presenters includes GRAMMY Award winners, current nominees and actors/actresses, including Kelsea Ballerini, Lenny Kravitz, Avril Lavigne, Jared Leto, Dua Lipa, Ludacris, Anthony Mackie, Megan Thee Stallion, Billy Porter, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Keith Urban, Questlove and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez.

Who’s Nominated?

Jon Batiste leads with 11 total nominations, including Record Of The Year (“Freedom”), Album Of The Year (We Are), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“I Need You”), and Best R&B Album (We Are).

First-ever nominee Olivia Rodrigo follows with seven nods, including Best New Artist, Song Of The Year (“Driver’s License”), Album Of The Year (Sour), and Record Of The Year (“Driver’s License”).

Other nominees include BTS, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, SZA, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Lil Nas X, Jimmie Allen, Walker Hayes, FINNEAS, Brandi Carlile, Ariana Grande, Coldplay, and many more.

How To Watch The 2022 GRAMMYs Premiere Ceremony?

Hosted by LeVar Burton, the GRAMMYs Premiere Ceremony will stream live on Grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel. The ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand Conference Marquee Ballroom in Las Vegas at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT.

During the ceremony, over 70 GRAMMY Awards will be awarded prior to the televised segment. Jimmie Allen and Allison Russell will perform during the Premiere Ceremony.
