As much as we hope this isn’t the case, rumors online via both Twitter and Reddit, as well as TheNewFury.com, have been blazing the last 24 hours of acclaimed and beloved post-hardcore heroes Letlive going on some sort of hiatus or even farewell tour soon. It should be known that these are just rumors, so take them with a grain of salt – but where there is smoke, there is often fire.
After embarking on a headlining run last year (which featured Silver Snakes, Seahaven, and Night Verses as support), Letlive have cemented themselves as a critically acclaimed post-hardcore outfit, which really started with 2010’s groundbreaking Fake History album. It catapulted the band into the public consciousness, and Letlive followed it up with 2 more albums in The Blackest Beautiful and If I’m The Devil…. Given the band’s huge following and passionate fanbase, any type of hiatus would indeed be very sad – but then again, sometimes a proverbial “recharge” is needed. Stay tuned.
